Swordfish Internet Solutions have been developing web sites since 1996. In the early days when all that was required was a copy of notepad and a basic understanding of HTML (Hypertext Mark-up Language), web sites were simple and consisted of a few pages of static text and pictures.
Today, with an ever increasing demand for functional web sites and e-commerce shopping carts with credit card payment facilities to institutions such as PayPal and WorldPay, Swordfish Solutions has enhanced its skill set to match the demands of a 21st century client. Most of our projects are now developed in a mixture of XML, HTML, PHP / MySQL and very few have pure HTML coding techniques. We also use basic CMS (Content Management System) principles in most of our online solutions which gives the site owner the power to manage their own content and other basic parts of the web site whilst leaving the back end (engine) and design elements in the safety of our professional, creative hands.
